RB Leipzig – PSG

RB Leipzig hosts PSG at the Red Bull Arena in a match from Group H of the Champions League. These two teams met at the 1/2-finals in the competition just few months ago and now they are going against each other again. Let’s preview it.

Both teams are having the same amount of points in their Champions League group – 3. They have one win and one loss in their record so far, being 3 points behind the leader Manchester United. Many things can happen in this group in the remaining weeks, though. The race for the first place is still not decided.

Last week the German side suffered its first defeat in the competition for the season. Julian Nagelsmann’s team had a trip to the Old Trafford where they suffered a very bad 0-5 defeat from the Red Devils. Surely it was one of Leipzig’s worst games since the appointment of Julian Nagelsmann as a manager.

During the weekend RB Leipzig suffered another loss. The Red Bulls faced Borussia M’gladbach in the Bundesliga, but suffered a 0-1 defeat.

PSG must avoid losing in Germany to keep their second place at least. The French club is one of the favourites for the first place in this group, but their defeat against Manchester United in the first round broke their plans for a domination in the group.

PSG achieved three wins in their last three matches and they kept clean sheets in all of the three. During the weekend Thomas Tuchel’s team met Nantes away from home and celebrated a 3-0 win. The champions scored all of their three goals after the halftime break when Herrera, Mbappe and Pablo Sarabia scored for the visitors.

That’s our preview for the Champions League match between RB Leipzig and PSG at the Red Bull Arena on Wednesday. What is your expectation for this match? We wish you good luck.
